OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS TO PERFORM AT LOCAL SHOWCASE
The Great South Coast Food & Fibre Showcase is inviting up-and-coming young local vocalists and musicians to perform at their celebration of regional produce at Deakin University Warrnambool on October 12th.
Food & Fibre GSC Chair, Oonagh Kilpatrick, said the showcase will offer locals the opportunity to discover the extraordinary depth of produce our spectacular region has to offer all in the one place, and will provide the perfect backdrop to also showcase some of our talented young local musicians.
“We want the Showcase to be a celebration of our great region as a whole, and that extends to our talented young people. If you’re great on the guitar, accordian, harmonica or just possess a fantastic voice, we want to hear from you!,” Ms Kilpatrick said.
The Great Food & Fibre Showcase is open to all local producers of food & fibre, and will showcase the amazing array of local produce available across our region. Entry is by gold coin donation and there will be something for the whole family, from food and beverage masterclasses to bounty hunts for the kids.
Local young musicians keen to perform at the showcase are asked to email info@foodfibregsc.com.au with their expression of interest.
