As we come to the end of my first full year as CEO, it is with enormous pride that I reflect on the significant growth Food & Fibre Great South Coast has achieved in this time. Through the strategic development of partnerships, collaboration with stakeholders - as well as the wider community - and thoughtful planning, Food & Fibre Great South Coast is now in a prime position to capitalise on opportunities as they arise, and create our own narrative in 2025.

Food & Fibre Great South Coast Inc. has unveiled an ambitious new Strategic Plan to guide the organisation’s actions over the next four years.
Food and Fibre Great South Coast is the representative body for food and fibre production businesses and their vast supply-chains in Southwest Victoria, encompassing five local government areas, Corangamite, Glenelg, Moyne, Southern Grampians Shires and Warrnambool City.

Food & Fibre in the Great South Coast will be showcased as a sure-fire investment at next week’s Evoke Ag in Perth, Western Australia.
Food & Fibre Great South Coast is partnering with Deakin University and Great South Coast Economic Futures to bring the region to the attention of national and global investors and start-ups.
FFGSC Chair, Oonagh Kilpatrick, said that investing in agriculture in the Great South Coast is a no brainer, and that it is imperative that we continue to showcase its huge potential alongside the fact that we are already the number one producer of food & fibre in Victoria.
FRESH SET OF HANDS TO TAKE THE REINS OF REGION’S FOOD & FIBRE FUTURE
A fresh set of hands is set to take the reins of the region’s foremost food & fibre body, Food & Fibre Great South Coast, with food industry professional Nicole Newman formally appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer today.
Chair, Oonagh Kilpatrick, said the board was delighted with the appointment of such a practiced professional, who boasts over 20 years of experience in the food and agricultural sector developing brands, creating businesses and encouraging others to do the same.
