Future Farming Forum
Thank you to everyone who joined our Future Farming Forum series across Warrnambool, Portland and Hamilton. The energy and engagement throughout the events were outstanding, and feedback was overwhelmingly positive, a clear sign that our region is eager to embrace practical innovation across the food and fibre sector.
Across the series, attendees heard from ARAIN on the role of AI voice technology in agriculture, AirAgri on improving farm safety and traceability through digital tools, Boomaroo Nurseries on horticultural innovation and sustainable growing systems, and Let’s Talk on supporting mental health and wellbeing in rural communities. NBN Co also joined us on-site to demonstrate how regional connectivity is becoming simpler and more accessible than ever before.
The forums sparked valuable discussion and collaboration, highlighting the strong appetite for innovation and the importance of partnerships between industry, local government and education providers such as Deakin University.
Food & Fibre Great South Coast will continue the conversation with upcoming webinars and resources for those interested in applying these technologies and ideas within their own businesses and communities.
